Constructed over 30 years ago, Granny Mouse Country House & Spa transformed a room typically designed for simple wine storage into a truly exceptional and unique space. Notably, this specially designed cellar was dug deep below the hotel to ensure perfect temperatures for the ultimate in wine storage, and as a result, it boasts an impressive array of the finest award-winning wines suitable to any palate.

Designed with great foresight, this unique cellar was fitted with a complete dining experience fit for a king, yet at the same time, it encompasses the warmth experienced throughout all of Granny Mouse’s welcoming hotel areas.
As you open the cellar door and descend the stone staircase into this magnificent space, it’s hard not to catch your breath at the effortless design the space exudes — indeed, you can’t help but drink in the splendour of the room.

The Cellar showcases a superb selection of South African wines, together with a curated Vintage Collection and Speciality Spirits. Consequently, there is something for every taste — from Sauvignon Blanc to a host of White Blends, Pinot Noir to Merlot, and exceptional Dessert wines. Furthermore, we offer a variety of tastings unique to the area and exclusively available at Granny Mouse Country House & Spa.
