Accommodation in “The Farmhouse” includes

  • 1 Main Bedroom with Bathroom en suite – sleeping 2 people in either 2 single beds or 1 kingsize bed
  • 1 Bedroom with shared Bathroom facilities – sleeping 4 people in 4 single beds which can be converted into 2 kingsize beds
  • 2 x Separate Bedrooms with shared Bathroom facilities – sleeping 2 people in either 2 single beds or 1 kingsize bed
  • 1 Bedroom with Bathroom en suite – sleeping 2 people in either 2 single beds or 1 kingsize bed

The Farmhouse is not serviced as being FULLY self catering – thus should you wish to have such serviced, rates start from R650 a day.

Additional Services offered in The Farmhouse

Understanding that families are either travelling for a weekend or a holiday we have also introduced assisted services that are over and above the daily accommodation fee with the idea of making it a breakaway with a difference.

  • The dedicated cleaner can be requested to be on site for full day service to ensure that you do not have to worry about trying to keep the house clean during your stay. Such is subject to additional charges.

  • By pre-arrangement we will shop for a list of groceries that has been pre-ordered from Woolworths and ensure that your fridge and pantry cupboard is stocked on arrival.  A handling fee is charged for this service

  • We can arrange for a chef to cater either a specific meal or for the entire stay, such service is subject to additional charges.

  • All guests from The Farmhouse are welcome to use the Spa at Granny Mouse and will receive a 10% discount on their treatments

A recent addition to the Granny Mouse stable, the Farmhouse at Granny Mouse is truly breathtaking in both design and décor, whilst still offering a warm, inviting and truly family environment.

Refurbished in 2014, this glorious self-catering Farmhouse has more than enough space for the entire family, offering five beautifully decorated rooms, sleeping a total of 12 people, and offers the very best in amenities. Little expense has been spared in the design of the large open plan kitchen and dining room areas, which come complete with two fridges, a washing machine, tumble dryer and everything you could possibly need for a large family holiday, which really make the Farmhouse a “home away from home.”

With a large outdoor patio, leading onto a sprawling pool and garden area, every last detail of the Farmhouse has been carefully thought out, including the provision of a Weber braai, a 10-seater outdoor dining table to make your stay just perfect.

Although the Farmhouse at Granny Mouse offers you the very best in self-catering options, the team at Granny Mouse have thought of everything, and for a small fee, will stock your fridge and cupboards prior to your arrival with a list of goodies from Woolies! If that isn’t your style, other options are available for you, as you can order directly from the Hotel, or have one of the Granny Mouse chefs prepare your meals for you in the Farmhouse kitchen. Freshly baked muffins, homemade breads, scones, eggs and farm fresh milk are just some of the little touches that can be delivered to your door (charges apply) when you opt to stay at the Farmhouse, and firewood for the indoor fireplace can be ordered at R250 per 50kg back. For the Weber braai outdoors, coal can be ordered in at additional charges per bag. (Wood & Coal not provided, charges apply)
